The Alternative Justices Project is a radical decentralized collective working towards community-based abolitionist harm prevention and harm response by creating collective resources.

Our work focuses on non-punitive, non-coercive, behavior and system transformation.

By us, for us, with us, always. Our collective represents a diverse group of members and includes victim/survivors, and folks who have done harm, which is to say all of us.

“You have to act as if it were possible to radically transform the world. And you have to do it all the time.”

-Angela Davis

Better Together

The Alternative Justices Project is accountable to and partners with The Second Life Project. These formerly incarcerated humans use their unique wisdom to support our efforts, while reminding us of the harm done by incarceration, the so-called criminal justice system, the police, and other forms of punitive justice.
